So when I went to go back to my Tumblebooks to finish up my review I discovered the link was directly to the Tumblebooks site, and not through the New York Public Library page. Why is that important? Because you can view the Tumblebooks online library for free on the New York Public Library site but if you go straight to their homepage you'd have to be a paid member to access those services.
Moral of the story: Read Tumblebooks for free by going through the New York Public Library page. Here's how:
1. Go to http://www.nypl.org/index.html
2. Under SERVICES (toward the right side of the page) click on NYPL for KIDS
3. Click on the TUMBLEBOOKS button
Now you can play around :)
It's getting late and I have to wake up early to get to a Children's Lit class in the morning.
